Experts at the forum agreed that globalization, modernization, and inclusive development are the trend of the world. Asian countries should more confidently pursue their own path of development amid global risks and challenges, they said.

The forum included three symposiums themed on Asia's challenges on the path to modernization, global economic recovery and regional cooperation in Asia, and Asian security and cooperation.

Yu Yunquan, president of the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies under China International Communications Group (CICG), said during his closing speech that the forum is committed to building a platform for think tanks in Asia to conduct dialogue, strengthen communication on matters concerning Asia's development and stability, and provide wisdom to the development and progress of Asia.

The forum was co-hosted by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies under CICG, the China Forum of the Center for International Security and Strategy of Tsinghua University, and the East Asian Institute of the National University of Singapore.
