China-India Youth Dialogue held to promote exchange

Chinese and Indian youth representatives from different fields shared their experiences and suggestions on promoting people-to-people and cultural exchange between the two countries at the China-India Youth Dialogue held in Beijing on Monday.

At the forum, Gao Anming, vice president of China International Communications Group (CICG), said that the youth represents a principal force pushing forward the development of the two countries and deepening the understanding and friendship between the two sides.

Gao called on youths from both sides to contribute their ideas and suggestions to bilateral cooperation and global development. He said he hopes that young people of the two countries will have a global vision and the courage to pursue their dreams on the world stage, and together contribute to a bright future of the world. 

Themed "Together for a Better Future," the event was jointly organized by the Center for Europe and Asia of CICG, China International Youth Exchange Center, and Cheena Bhavana of Visva-Bharati University.
