CICG president meets with head of Paris Peace Forum

Du Zhanyuan, president of China International Communications Group (CICG), met with Justin Vaisse, director general of the Paris Peace Forum, in Beijing on April 12. 

Du welcomed the visiting delegation led by Vaisse and spoke highly of the China-France Global Governance Forum?jointly held by the two sides. He said the forum had yielded fruitful results and exerted far-reaching international influence. 

Du said CICG will actively support and participate in the second Paris Peach Forum and work with other think tanks and media outlets to enhance exchange and contribute more to global governance, Du said.

Vaisse expressed his appreciation for CICG's contribution to the China-France Global Governance Forum and spoke highly of China's constructive efforts in safeguarding multilateralism and global governance. He invited CICG to participate in the second Paris Peace Forum, and said he expected more pragmatic cooperation with CICG in fields such as global governance.

The Paris Peace Forum was initiated by French President Emmanuel Macron to promote multilateral cooperation and address global challenges.
