China, Papua New Guinea co-organize photo exhibition

A photo exhibition titled"Beautiful China, Beautiful Papua New Guinea" opened to the public in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on Nov. 12.

The exhibition is made up of three sections, with a large number of photos depicting the natural scenery, folk culture and friendly exchanges of both countries.

Papua New Guinea is a sincere friend and an important cooperative partner of China in the South Pacific region. The relationship between the two countries has become a model for China and Pacific island countries, said Guo Weimin, vice minister of the State Council Information Office (SCIO).

The photo exhibition is a highlight of bilateral friendly exchanges, said Guo. It's hoped that people from Papua New Guinea can appreciate China's beauty and the friendship and sincerity of the Chinese people through this exhibition.

The exhibition was co-organized by China Pictorial and the University of Papua New Guinea. The exhibition will run from Nov. 12 to 16 at the University of Papua New Guinea.
